Four pairs of teammates make up this lineup, and for good reason.
Joel Embiid and Dario Saric have both seen an uptick in usage as a result of JJ Redick’s injury. Saric got 14 shots up last game and his scoring will be a factor tonight and he’s a steal for $5,500. Embiid figures to take advantage of the Bucks bigs all night as well.
As for the Heat guys, Josh Richardson and Wayne Ellington have both seen extended run given the absences of Dion Waiters and Tyler Johnson. If Miami is also down Goran Dragic tonight then Richardson will slide down to point guard while Ellington sees his usage rise as well. Both should pan out regardless of if Dragic plays tonight though.
The most expensive set of teammates is Eric Bledsoe and Khris Middleton in Milwaukee. The absence of both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Malcolm Brogdon tonight means that those two guys will really be the only ones capable of creating offense on their own playing tonight. Both should see over 20 shots in a ton of iso looks as a result.
And finally we get to the Grizzlies forwards. Dillon Brooks and JayMychal Green will both continue to see generous minutes as the result of Chandler Parsons and James Ennis’ injuries. Brooks scored a career high 21 points last night and Green is the Grizzlies best chance at slowing down Anthony Davis defensively. I anticipate both beat their expected values.
Chris Paul doesn’t have a teammate in this lineup but makes a lot of sense to pay for tonight. Warriors-Rockets figures to be an uptempo game and the Rockets are thin minus Gerald Green and Trevor Ariza. Add in the fact that James Harden won’t see his full minute load and it appears that the Rockets will go as far as Chris Paul takes them tonight.
