Kyrie Irving will sit out for Thursday’s matchup against the 76ers. His absence is likely short-term, so Celtics fans shouldn’t be concerned. DFS players should be excited, however, because his absence creates opportunities for other Celtics today.
Marcus Smart was listed as questionable with an illness and will indeed play, and will be in a good spot as he draws the start at point guard. He has so far in Irving’s stead and had some of his most productive games in that spot.
Terry Rozier will also get a bump in minutes, as should Shane Larkin. Larkin should play about 18 minutes while Smart and Rozier push 30. Smart is the preferred look tonight, however.
